OUR MINISTRIES
Our goal is to establish sustainable ministries that address the needs that are prevalent in the communities we serve so that people can be changed, healed, and delivered.
Amanah Arts Academy (AAA)
Youth in grades 4-8 can receive instruction in music arts as well as visual arts for FREE. The application for our summer program will begin April 1, 2021. Click here for more information.
Health Ministry
This ministry operates programs that focus on all aspects of the health spectrum: emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual. The flagship program, Amanah Fitness Camp, was launched on Facebook during the Corvid-19 pandemic and continues to engage followers to take care of their temple through daily fitness challenges, healthy eating guidelines, and weight management. Music Ministry
Under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Paul Atlas, this group has been invited to encourage and minister on formats all over the Eastern NC Episcopal District of the AME Zion Church from the Central NC Annual Conference to the 2021 Board of Bishops meeting. Click here for more information.
Pandemic Support Ministry
This ministry works in conjunction with community leaders and organizations all over the United States in order to address the issues and aid those who may be suffering due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
"Free Indeed" Prison Ministry
We are in the process of forming a prison ministry which will not only focus on the needs of those who are presently incarcerated but also those who have been recently released. Our desire is to educate, empower, and encourage these individuals in order to reduce the likelihood of recidivism. More information to come.
Tutorial Ministry
A team of current and past educational professionals use their gifts to meet the educational needs of children across the K-12 curriculum. Equipped with resources and tools aligned with the Common Core Standards, each tutor gives individualized attention to every child that enters our program which is FREE of charge to the public.
