We feel that students learn best when they can utilize as many of their faculties as possible so we play learning games, require reading and writing assignments in addition to providing group and individual instruction.
In addition to utilizing a variety of learning activities, we realize that it is necessary for students to have numerous opportunities to showcase what they have learned. Therefore, we include the students from the Arts Academy in our celebrations and services.
Our hope is that eventually the Amanah Arts Academy students will be able to participate in programs, not only at Amanah, but iin other events and programs around the community.

How much do the lessons cost?

They are absolutely FREE!
Does my child need to know beginning art, band, or drama?

No. Instruction will be provided according to their skill level.
What instruments are taught?

Alto sax, Clarinet, Flute, Trombone, and Trumpet
Will my child need to have his/her own art supplies?

No. EVERYTHING needed will be provided at no charge.
How do students get instruments?

Each student is required to obtain an instrument. We have a rental agreement with Music & Arts (an approved provider to most Wake County band programs).

If students are unable to rent or purchase an instrument, other options are available.

No student will be turned away due to lack of an instrument.
